The drill
Attackers plant a spike, defenders stop them. Guns kill fast, so crosshair placement and positioning win more rounds than abilities do. Agents add smokes, flashes and recon that turn every round into a small plan.
A session on the range
A full match runs 30 to 45 minutes and leaving early costs you. Swiftplay and Deathmatch fit a short evening. Ranked rewards consistency, and the community can be rough on newcomers who do not talk.
Money and fair play
All agents can be unlocked by playing; buying only speeds that up. Skins and battle passes are cosmetic, but premium weapon bundles are expensive. Vanguard runs at system level from boot, which keeps cheating low but is worth understanding before you install.
Hits
- Crisp, readable gunfights
- Strong anti-cheat, very few blatant cheaters
- Runs well on modest PCs
Misses
- Long matches with leaver penalties
- Pricey cosmetic bundles
After-action report
For players who want pure aim duels with a layer of strategy. Skip it if you dislike long matches or system-level anti-cheat.
